PRAY FOR ME

Oh chill out. Just providing a little geographic and snowcap perspective from a guy who's lived in Washington since he was 5.

There's a lookout somewhere near Goldendale, WA where the sign points to views of Mt's Rainier, Adams, St. Helen's and Hood. Pretty cool. Except that after 1980 the St. Helen's sign points to nothing.

I was in school at WSU when St. Helens blew. Crazy. The sky got dark, and there was this huge "storm cloud" that came over. Then it started snowing ash.
I do miss seeing Mt Rainier on a rare clear day. That volcano makes you feel small when you realize the base of it is 100 miles wide.

PRAY FOR ME

I can never see this mountains from Portland. So I have no idea. What beautiful about Portland is the people, the public transportations that was free, the cleanliness, the mild weather. I love the fall mushroom foraging, the salmon fishing, crabbing...love the simplicity of the lifestyle amid the rain and the cold.
Skiing trips to Mt. Hood is alsways magical. Fishing at Bonneville Dam is always magical. Sturgeons fish are always too big to keep. God's country.
