You will play your junior year in a $1.9B stadium

The one family that has lived in Las Vegas and has not gone to UNLV but has made many donations is the Fertitta family, who also built the Tennis complex as well as other donations. Also the Lee family who made their money in California real estate donated about $15 million in one gift. Caesar Dinucci has given more than $3 million; Caesar's Palace, Station Casino, Boyd Group; MGM, etc have all made numerous multi-million donations over the years. Just look at many of the building names on campus and you will get an idea of who made many of the million dollar donations

Sanford and Sandra Berman, Fred and Harriet Cox, the Engelstad Family Foundation, George Maloof and the Maloof family, Robert and Paula Mendenhall, National Security Technologies, Bill and Bonnie Paulos, and Bill and Bonnie Wortman, Elaine Wynn, Irwin Molasky, Thomas and Mack, Howard Hughes Company as well as many more all made donations of $1 million or more.

The funny thing is that one of the biggest donors to UNLV is Sheldon Addelson. He has made numerous large donations to UNLV that total well in excess of $10 million. The last major donation that he made was for $7 million towards the currently under construction hospitality hall building, a large donation to the UNLV library. He has also made numerous other donations to UNLV and is involved with the UNLV foundation.
You forgot the Gaughans, Rogers, Lied, etc, families....

With the tax regulations expected to change considerably for the 2018 fiscal year, this is a prime time for the AD to get after potential huge donations for the 2017 taxable year. The "Whale Donors" just "might" be extinct after the expected tax regulation changes go into effect. If our AD doesn't go after this 100 mph right now, it will be malfeasance to the highest degree.
