Bring back McClain, holy crap.
Boatraced by ETSU on neutral court, lost by 23. Also lost to North Colorado, Denver, Niagara, UCSB and Evansville. Wins vs Grambling (182), Richmond (332), South Carolina (213).
Wyoming is now a sub 300 team. Not quite as bad as SJSU, but butting heads. Boise is near 300, as well. CSU is sub 250. So is Air Force.
That’s FIVE sub 250 teams in conference. They’ll beat each other up for wins, but they’re all going to be low win totals. For every other team not listed, that grouping should provide 7-10 conference wins alone (sometimes you only play 1 team, maybe twice, 7 allows for a loss vs one of them). It’s just an extraordinarily weak conference. It’s only been strong a couple of years, good a couple of seasons, mediocre most seasons, but these last few have been really bad, but this season is a cliff drop.
It’s a feastable conference in terms of inflating win totals. Conference play will probably reduce ratings for nearly everyone.
