Where are the apologies from the keep CKK crowd that thought if he was retained we could keep more of the potential returning players? Dedan would have left no matter what with the bag he got.

The group that Josh Pastner has recruited is far superior to anything CKK would have retained and recruited. I am in awe of the potential he has brought in. Josh has made off season interesting again.

Oh we all thinking it... still wondering why lon was 0 help..sure im missing something.

There were zero keep CKK on these boards for 2025. Maybe on Twitter. Not here.
Wondering about the financial and trying to read into comments about budget problems? Sure we had those. But Noone here actually though keeping CKK was the the best thing to do.

See two posts on Twitter supporting Kevin..

'Look at ALL these people supporting Kevin!'

Not sure why folks feel the need to create fictional armies of people who have unpopular opinions, where none actually exist.

There was a microscopic contingent of fans behind Kevin. A contingent so small barely worth acknowledgement.

(Not directed at you speaking in general terms).

Here's the thing. The retaining Kruger people were most likely wrong, but I don't think there's any reason to go after them just because they're wrong. If you make it impossible to admit you're wrong without repercussions from your peer group, you are guaranteeing blowback effect where they just double down. People get stuff wrong, poeople evaluate things differently, people have different sets of personal morals and judgement values, at the end of the day we're all UNLV fans and/or Alumni. This fan base is too small anymore to let there be actual schisms to divide us even further.

No offense, I don’t know how you guys put up with such dogsh*t product..

You are way, way too reasonable to be posting here😎

I don't know seems delusional. Almost like an ed grany article :Kimberlee Myer "As a loyal season ticket holder alumna I am beyond disappointed. Kevin Kruger deserved better. All five starters were hurt this year. How is that his fault? He had this program headed in the right direction. He would have returned 10 players and instead we blow it up, start over & spend another 3 years just to get to where we are now. Every time we get a good player or coach they're going to get stolen by a P4. You had a coach that was loyal and would have stayed forever. Big mistake. Fire Harper"

Yep!

There was no money to pay for his buyout they said… Lol
That’s not the same thing as wanting to keep CKK though.

For me, knowing UNLV has been CHEAP for years and having broken the bank for Mullen, throwing 2 million at CKK + new hire contract seemed unlikely at the time. It doesn’t mean I didn’t want CKK shitcanned, I wanted him gone after year one when he blew it vs New Mexico that first season then blew the Vancouver trip etc.

It was quite obvious he was out of his element and never really improved.
