Fred Hoiberg is canned in Chicago at the end of the season? Rumor has it he's on the hot seat and an ESPN article came out saying its the hottest in the NBA.
Does UNLV and who over the new AD is say we need to move on from that dumpster fire that happened in hiring Menzies and make a run at Hoiberg? Menzies buyout is 500,000 and yeah it would be s**** of us to fire him after 1 season but lets be honest 99% of the fan base didn't want Menzies and i don't really think it matters how successful he is here the fans won't be behind him. i was at the Kansas game and the announced attendance was 14,000 i'd say 5,000 was kansas fans so 9,000 UNLV fans showed up to watch UNLV play Kansas thats embarrassing no matter how bad we are. i can't imagine the crowd on sat for WYO.
I honestly think Menzies won't be here long, i don't think he will be given a fair shot. I could be wrong but if you could heal all wounds in hiring Hoiberg i'd be behind it 100% just my 2 cents....
