I imagine the new DC will try his best to keep him, but there might be significant offers he's hearing about elsewhere so the decision to pursue might not be in our court at all.. we will see after the bowl game how many departures we get, will likely be a busy 24 hours

My guess is almost every player sees it at a clean slate and a chance to increase their money … sort of a free roll. And it’s enticing to explore those options.
