In losses, the ball gets pounded as much as it ever has. And it’s always a loss. Pretty direct correlation, imo. We are 500. So we’ve pounded it quite frequently. That first half was incredible! I hope they can play like that in the post season.
I love that the ball never gets pounded for 10-15 seconds like it had the last few years.
One telling play was Bryce Hamilton's 2nd half block of a lay up attempt. The Rebels already had a huge lead and the game was in hand but he and the rest of the team were still playing with max effort.
Not sure. Last night was pretty low. The two games before that were much higher than the season average, but that was UNR and SDSU. So it’s hard to say.I see signs of potential from the team, but I still get a feeling they haven't fully bought into the coaches program. The big questions will be can they become consistent in the remainder of this year and into next year, and can they find the shooters that at lacking on offense for next season?
The last thing I have noticed is that the attendance at game has drastically improved as the season has progressed. Since the record isn't exactly great it must have more to do with the style of play and fans seeing that the program is going in the right way. What does anyone else think about this?
