The rematch in the tournament was my 2nd favorite game of all time to watch (1st being the national championship game)

The funny thing is UNLV won the game easily with 3 players suspended for the game. If the entire team had played, it would have been a 20+ point victory!

Those LMU teams were so good. Especially with Hank Gathers. Kimble and Gathers get all the credit, but they also had some great college players in Jeff Fryer, Per Sturmer, Terrell Lowery, and Tom Peabody. All of those guys knew their roles and made Westhead's philosophy work. Westhead was a genius that was ahead of his time.
