I won’t venture a guess until we see the final roster, see the final schedule and I get to see some run over the summer.

When was the last time the team actually overachieved? Over a decade ago? It never happened with the last 2 coaches. We saw a lot of underachieving though.

Makes no sense that we very freely, without a conscience, jacked up sooooooo many three pointers last season. We were #222 in the nation or somewhere thereabouts. It’s like having 9 Ichiro’s, Bowa’s and Carew’s swinging for the fences on every pitch. It’s an easy way out even if it is wholly ineffective.

Yeah, we will shoot the ball better and I’m assuming we will run many things other than solitary, easy, no imagination high ball screen to create a three point opportunity that we ran every play last year, to the tune of 222nd best in the nation.

222nd!, AND I can't believe we still won 20 games and kept our three point streak alive. I would bet a good amount of cash that Otz gets this team out of the 200s and into the top 50, and if he gets these guys to guard the 3, we will be in running for that elusive MWC title.

I think we only won 17 or so.

Once Otz gets the full roster turnover, I suspect you’ll be in the right area with that guess. I mean, that’s his style, it’s a bit unique and requires certain players, so turnover will he needed. We had quite a bit in terms of cutting very excessive dead weight.
