Decker throws an interception in first series. One thing we can't afford to do is shoot ourselves in the foot. Decker needs to forget it about and get offense going. He looked poised. More so than normal but still through behind his receiver.

Defense is doing all they can but Michigan is going to score. Matt Lea went down and that's another thing we can't afford.

Second series. UNLV establishing run game and did ok gaining a 1st down. But Rebs on 3 and 7 feel heat before snap and Decker fumbles snap. Recovers but for a loss. That's two unforced errors. Decker needs to get it together.

Liking what I'm seeing on Defense so far. Hope they can maintain throughout the game.offense needs to start picking up some sustained drives in order to keep them fresh.

Yep. Most of them. Last one wasn't on Decker just very well defended. It was on the money but knocked away.

Michigan is just bigger and faster than us.. the lack of foot speed on defense is really showing...it looks like the varsity (Michigan) playing the freshman team (UNLV) ....now we have to throw the ball... being behind 14-0... ugh...

At least we didn't turn the ball over and give up a score in the last two minutes of the first half. That was my biggest fear (that usually came to fruition) in each game last season. We had a knack for falling apart in those last two minutes and the beginning of the third quarter.
