Admittedly, most coaches (including Hauck) are good at selling enthusiasm, vision, and optimism just after a new hire. But Sanchez takes it to a new level, IMO. He beams with a positive outlook, and since he's a local, it just seems like he "gets it" and understands that getting the community (and $$$) support is the only way this ship sails in the right direction.
My favorite part of the interview was this exchange (paraphrased):
Colin: (after Coach Sanchez talked about the importance of a great staff) Are you worried that -- because you're not a well-established college coach -- you are going to have a hard time getting great coaches who want to be on your staff?
Coach Sanchez: Nope. It's already done. I've got coach and coach from Nebraska, coach from Oregon State, coach from Houston, and I'll name the others shortly, because they are tied up in bowl preparations.
