Looks like we are getting into tear Coach down,instead of looking at the team,and what went wrong.I hope we as a Staff,as well as the kids really look at the film,and take notes to correct these mistakes.Mistake #1..we are still not putting our top perimeter defenders in the game at any point(STAFF issue).The top defenders are PM/Cook/Cornish/Poysner, in terms of staying in front of anyone.That team killed us early with lack of perimeter D.We are not making open shots(DM/DJ).These 2 should drive more,instead of settling. Carter with a costly turnover getting the ball to McCaw.Killed us!Zimm has to get stronger.We can play him more as a 3 on offense,due to excellent passing from the top to inside,and face up jumpshot. Defensively he guards the Center.We have to find out one way or the other if Cook can help us defensively at least.Check out Mike Grimala footage, and look at how Carter got that foul, close to the end.Seagers is not defending,and valued size as Carter/Zimm picks up fouls, trying to protect the rim, from penetrating guards.
