The Jackson State band was amazing.....and, the Jackson State fans were terrific as well.....very respectful and having a great time....they all seemed to enjoy their visit to Las Vegas.....we certainly enjoyed them. It was a great night and a nice start to what will be an improved season......

Sat there last night and couldn't help but think more than once about what Coach Sanchez could do to this program and for this program if he had the financial support and the facilities that others have. That guy is just a flat out winner and from an outside perspective, it sure seems like his guys are bought in to his plan.

Banged up shoulder. Nothing serious but Sanchez did not see the need to risk it. Actually liked seeing Sneed get reps. Even if they were in garbage time, reps are reps.

Still a lot of ground to make up in terms of talent and depth and overall program, but no doubt, it appears we are finally heading in the right direction.
