I like how we are trying to push the tempo and get up and down the court. It’s going to work against several teams on the schedule but I don’t think it’ll work against some and I don’t think it’ll work non conference. A couple conference teams may play that way. But we all know it is far easier to slow down a game than speed up a game. So against the teams that fully scout and prepare, I think most will slow it down. Which will help us on the defensive boards but we really don’t need help there.
Most teams play man to man but I suspect we will still see a lot of packed in zones trying to force us to shoot the ball. And we have to prove ourselves there a bit. Hopefully we don’t get jack happy because it won’t work in the long run.
