Tell Dave Rice to sit down, shut up & let the kids play basketball. Maybe even roll up a program ala John Wooden and give off an air of confidence that his guys can actually take care of business without him shouting instructions constantly. He looks scared and worried and the team picks up on that and they in turn play scared and worried.
And another thing, I hate the reference he always makes of needing to "Play with Urgency". I hate that. Always makes it sound like it's now or never and we are on the verge of failing. How about saying we need to play like the superior team that we are with CONFIDENCE.
You've got some horses now Dave so sit down and relax, enjoy the show and instill some confidence instead of insecurity in your club.

I'm glad you posted though. It's good to know Rice is telling the guys to "Play with Urgency" .... a lot. Because a lot of times it doesn't appear that his team(s) are.
