..put them away, as we should. Big game for our big weapon. Way to go Brandon.

Now comes a true test of the "new look" Rebels. Road games @ Boise St , followed
by a trip to Vegas/North and the Community College of Northern Nevada. If the Rebels can snare at least one victory out of those two, it should be considered a huge success

The entire month overall looks like it will be a challenge. The easy part of the conference schedule was in January.

My expectations were higher going into January, but the team is pretty much around where people expected it to be before the start of the season. I saw us picked to finish in the middle of the conference with the expectation being that there would be improvements in years 3 and 4.

However the high scoring was a surprise. I wonder how much the team would score if the defense was better and there were more opportunities to get out and run.

6 teams with 6-4 conference wins, and were right in the middle at 5. And we have 1 less game played than most of those teams. Considering where we were last year, we are in a good position. Win the last 4 at home (Reno might be tough), and sneak out a couple more road wins and will be in good shape.

Still perplexed at how the team looks now compared to non-conference. Perhaps it's quality of teams. But doesn't explain the couple good wins we did have in non-conference.

Anyway. They got the job done against a winless conference team.
