With today being signing day, feel free to add any new information in here. I'm looking forward to see what we get today!
At least we made progress throughout the course of the year this year. We got better as the season went on, which we can't always say. It would have been nice to get a couple more wins obviously, but if we had been able to keep our QB's healthy, we would have won more, IMO. Not sure what the QB position is going to look like for next season.Different recruits..same result.
Usually a 2 win season it’s all gloom and doom. I don’t really feel that way.At least we made progress throughout the course of the year this year. Are the rules still 85 total scholarships per team and no more than 25 new scholarships per class?
4 wins would do it for you. Wow.Usually a 2 win season it’s all gloom and doom. I don’t really feel that way.
I absolutely think we have to ramp up next season and double the win total though. If it ends up a 1 or 2 win season then, meh …
It's difficult, but I'm also trying to anticipate what all this new recruiting stuff will mean, how it will impact things, who will flip on their commitments, who will bolt elsewhere. I just don't think it pans out well for UNLV - but it won't pan out for any school in conference.4 wins would do it for you. Wow.
2020 they were no closer than what, 17 points? This season they lost 6 games by one score and won 2. If it's not 6 or 7 wins next then that could be sayonara until the next build.
Didn't say rebuild because this hasn't been built since 1983 and 1984 which was the last time this team had back-to-back winning seasons. However the NCAA adjusted those to 0-13 and 0-11 so it's 78-79-80 for the last back-to-back winning seasons. Since 1985? 5 winning seasons.
I hope that this signing day is the one that flips the script.
This strikes me as nowhere near enough. Am I wrong here?10 kids for this early signing period. 6 HS kids and 4 JC players. Not as heralded as last year‘s class (though there‘s still time), but definitely quality players. I know they plan on hitting the transfer portal harder than usual this year. Hopefully get some quality players there.

Just tuned in, but it sounds like I missed it. Any good info?CMA on Cofield and Co. about to talk about the Rebels early signings.

I'd be happy with 4 wins next year, six the following year and averaging 8 wins after that. A complete turnaround and culture change.Don't play with my heart!
It was the plan. This is the early signing period. Look for coach to go heavy on portal transfers for another 12-15+This strikes me as nowhere near enough. Am I wrong here?
That's really what we need. The young HS guys are great, but most won't contribute right away. We need some difference makers and quality depth guys right away. Hopefully we can get some of them.It was the plan. This is the early signing period. Look for coach to go heavy on portal transfers for another 12-15+
It will be like a slot machine. Only pays out if you put money in.The idea that the portal is an endless supply of talent will be tested.
I admit, i don't think it's a great formula to get half your guys from the portal for a P5 program. But for UNLV it could work.. We'll seeIt will be like a slot machine. Only pays out if you put money in.
