Twelfth seat if I'm lucky
CBS just showed the stands. So baron! We outdrew this game when we played the D2 team last week.

No way the Pac and Big12 don’t come calling! That is, unless ESPN wants us to go independent so that they have exclusive rights to broadcast all of our games.

Utah vs Florida could be a good game for the west team. Doubt it.

Boring game … SDSU doesn’t look good at all. They were physically manhandled.

I was somewhat surprised by the turnout for their inaugural game at the new stadium, but it was damn near 100 degrees out there in the middle of the day. Don’t think that helped things. Regardless, not a great loss to a historically bad UofA team.

As soon as you speak …

That's the blue print against Hokey's teams. Get in the air and early.

All those years UNLV fans came and watch bad football in 100 degree dusty heat at Sam Boyd and the Football God’s just couldn’t give us a year like Cincinnati 2 years ago. Just 1 damn year out of 30+ years that I followed UNLV.

90% of the games UNLV played early in the season on their home field were at night time because of the heat. Not sure why SDSU didn't play at night time, but maybe the temperature was a lot hotter than normal for this time of year in San Diego?

Not the way you want to open up a new stadium. Also having this game mid day was really bad idea.

There is no way SDSU could have planned on the weather that hit them during the game. The typical high temperature at that time of year is around 78 degrees and they end up with a forecast of 92 degree for the east end of mission valley which is 10-15 degrees over what should be expected and set a record. By the time the weather forecast came out, approximately 1 week before the game, it would be too late to change the time or location.

Considering the weather in Arizona, they must have felt like a cool weather front was moving thru!

SDSU game was either sold out or almost sold out. Fans inside underneath in the shade outnumbered those in their seats. As already mentioned it wasn’t lack of interest it was the 100 degree 1230pm start with direct sun exposure.

I dont know but I don’t think moving the game was given serious consideration since it was the 1230pm national CBS game last week. Had it been on MWCTV I’m sure it would have been moved, although it never would have been scheduled at that time to begin with.
