Won’t support this.

No interest in any future matchups

Leadership rolled over and doesn’t want to compete

I’ll keep my sub here to support YOU guys

We have till the 2026 season. Hoping we figure it out before then. It’ll be rough to convince the fanbase to stay after that though.

So much is going to happen in the next 2-3 years, y'all are going to regret overreacting.

That’s what everyone said about UNLV 2-3 years ago when realignment was beginning. And now 2-3 years later UNLv is left is a worse conference situation than they were. So I’m not going to hold my breath thinking good things are coming.

Well, we're actually still in the same situation for the next 2 years. Maybe even better since I believe that the MWC5 teams that left forfeit any additional money they make from the NCAA tournament credits. I'm not sure on bowl money. However, yes, after 2 years, it's definitely a gamble.

Our 2 commissioners are burning the house down around them to save face. A merger would be best for both of them.

Who could go above them to make this a win-win?
The parameters of a merger were clear with the PAC, they didn’t follow those parameters and there’s a penalty for that. Now they don’t want to pay those penalties. Their funds have probably dried up and can’t afford any AAC schools.

Now the PAC is considering UTEP according to reports. Going from AFA, UNLV, Tulane, Memphis, USF to…. UTEP. What a disaster at the PAC offices, and they don’t even have a secured tv rights deal, only burning cash to pay for member schools exit fees.

Who wants to merge with a bunch of morons that thought they were too good for this conference and ended up in the same spot? It’s hilarious.

Agree. But a merger now could stop the bleeding on both sides. Both sides are losing by a conference split.

Lawyers of course do not want a merge as they will get rich off this peeing match.

Merger or reverse merger made the most sense since the word go. Too many egos everywhere to do the right thing. Regardless of conference, I will always cheer for whomever is playing sdsu.

Correct, but again the PAC agreed on the parameters and went behind everyone’s backs and did the opposite of what they agreed to. They made a mess, not us and it doesn’t sound like we’re interested in helping them clean it up.

How many times do we have to watch SDSU and Boise screw up in leaving the conference? First it was the BigEast then it was the Pac 1.0 and now this mess. They are on their own.
