100% agree. Which for MBB means CKK stays unless there’s a great hire available at the same salary. We don’t have to like it but we should accept it to keep Odom (or be able to afford a close to equal replacement).

why do people always think there isnt money to hire a new coach... Its never been about the money. First go around after Rice it was the reputation of the university and the AD. After Menzies, Otz was a pretty decent type of hire- just happened to not want to be here once the ISU job opened in January. Kevin wasnt a money hire, it was a lazy hire. She wanted to get process done quickly because Otz embarrassed her by leaving the way he did and thought she'd get Lon Kruger as well and all we got so far is some shots from games where he's watching. Money wasnt the problem.
Money also wont be the problem for Odom. Im not talking competing against ridiculous P4 money- thats not my concern, We will be able to compensate him well enough for a G5 coach to make him happy, itll be whether he wants to go back into the bigger conference challenges or if he sees a ceiling at UNLV.

Garyt Odom offered by PSU, Louisville, Arkansas etc. He is only 165 lbs and is UNLV commit. What do people see in BO's son. He will be a freshman. Is he enrolling for the spring?

I've asked the same it doesn't sound like many are familiar with how good he is or not. His target schools would say yes he is good.

If it was Odom, there are not even close to 50 football coaches that are better at any price. How many coaches can take a program that has been bottom 20 for decades, and in two season turn them into a top 25 program?

Rivals list him at 6'1" - 175 lbs. Hopefully he puts an inch or two and 10-20 pounds on during his senior year.
