...and UNLV lost. Still, fun game. Good to watch the Rebels take on our arch-nemesisees.

We need the Hamper. He may be slow and not terribly skilled but he's 7-foot, 250 lbs of pure muscles. A stray elbow from him could easily take out 1 or 2 opposing players.Clark Kellog commented on Rebels lack of ball movement. He said they choked because they haven't played enough games yet. A lot of shots were close but lack of big man killed us on weak side rebounding. Looking down the bench no one was strong enough to block out, so we lost. Great defense by both teams except for the boards.
I agree. The pointless dribbling is infuriating. Especially at crunch time. The under 12min media timeout seemed to signal ratcheting up the "dribble too much while everyone else stands around" offense. Got progressively harder to watch. Mensah and Johnson had their ways with us.
Clark hit the nail on the head. SDSUs defense is tough. You can't dribble your way through it. Ball movement was good at times early in the game, However late in the game it was all just 1 pass. Dribble dribble dribble - bad shot.Clark Kellog commented on Rebels lack of ball movement. He said they choked because they haven't played enough games yet.
