Longtimers saw CKK for what he was. An attempt to win on a budget and hope the results were enough. We’ve seen that show before here.
I gotta say, I wasn’t expecting the quality recruits CJP has landed, and lord knows we have no idea how the experiment turns out. But I’m legitimately excited for UNLV basketball next year. We have some length, size, talent and can we even add grit? I’m tired of being a finesse, low IQ team that gets outcoached and overmatched more often than not.
As long as he prioritizes conditioning, tough defense & smart offensive sets, we can be something.
