Any suggestions? I'm assuming RV returns and CW leaves. I've seen Morgan mentioned (and shot down). He could still be a candidate if he starts slow next year. I've seen Cornish mentioned too, but he is too good of a shooter to RS
IMO. Jones might be a candidate because, like Wood, he needs to bulk up. Not sure if he would go for that, but if we get Zimm in particular and Morgan doesn't RS he might be better off as the 3 and 4 would be pretty filled and minutes scarce. The interesting one is Poyser, I can see Rice waiting for the last minute on that decision depending on Cook and Seagers. Especially being a make or break year and this spot being our biggest ?. I can also see him keeping Posyer on the roster under any scenario and not wanting to risk an injury or lack of a fit by either Seagers or Cook. On paper Jones seems like the best candidate IMO. I would think someone has to otherwise we have a lot of players looking for minutes.
