if you could pick 1 player from Massimino, Cle Edwards, Bayno, Spoon, Kruger, Rice, Menzies up to current Era..

We know the 1991 squad was pretty stacked, but hindsight being 20/20, they were missing a piece that didn’t help them get over the top.

Who would you personally pick would have helped them possibly beat Duke that year..

Pick 1 and only 1.

Give me Marcus Banks as backup PG given the way the game went down.

Grant Hill was the difference and Stacey Augmon is the best all-around defender we ever had so you have to beat Duke some other way. I would say either Marcus Banks or Greedy Daniels. Marcus could play great defense when he wanted but just my opinion I thought Greedy was on another tier defensively. He locked up Jeryl Sasser for a half and he shut down USCs backcourt practically single-handedly. With Tark and Grg coaching Greedy who knows? Marcus was such a forceful scorer though. With LJ having an off game you need someone to compensate so I'll go with Marcus too.

Isaiah "J.R." Rider. Yes, he was initially Tark's recruit but the last year at UNLV, he played for Fat Rollie Mass.
We, needed a 3 point shooter who drove to the basket, as well. He would of dunked over Grant Hill's Ass too.

Marcus Banks is choice 1A for me too. He could guard the ball and save GA from phantom foul trouble and he would be far more physical and able to really punish Hurley. Other than that my list would probably be senior Mark Dickel, Oscar Bellfield, or Kevin Kruger. Us not having H ready to play on this level is one of the few failings I had with how Tark developed that team.

If not a PG, then probably a utility wing/forward Stacey had a rough game and Davis off the bench was basically the second biggest x-factor for that game, even better if they could give Ackles a hand with Laettner. Shawn Marion or Dalron Johnson would probably be at the top of my list. Varied offensive toolkits, length and solid defenders.

Shawn would be a good addition. Needs no touches, but gets his points, and can defend. Similar to Stacey.

JR Rider makes any team better, I might consider him.

But we are talking about arguably the best team of all time. So it’s hard to add somebody to make them better, imo.
