Im going to TJ this afternoon planning on attending the Tijuana vs Guadalajara game.
Last time i did this I showed up at the TJ Marriott where we stayed that night and are doing again tonight and asked the bellman about tickets which I thought were sold out. 45 minutes later a guy shows up and I give him $85 and I have 2 tickets.
For tonight Im looking on Craigslist SanDiego just to see what to expect and it looks like people are asking $120 per (my Spanish is bad)
I also noticed that Guadalajara is called Chivas?? Ive hear Chivas all of the time didn't know they were one in the same. So here i my question isn't Chivas a very popular team? Did I chose a game that because of their popularity tickets presumably are selling for more than I had anticipated? Regardless Im going and will find tickets once across the border but Im just curious how big is this game??
