I’m going to watch Bull Durham, bad news bears, the sandlot, 42, major league, field of dreams, and a few others tonight.
There hasn’t been a new baseball made in a long time. I wonder why…
Oh it’s because baseball is old and archaic.

Currently watching Masters of the Air with my roommate. This series is god damn incredible.

dude, I respect old movies but I don’t have the patience to watch it.
Watched Them! 1959 about killer gigantic ants. Not bad but not good either.
Can you guys recommend old good movies that an older gentlemen might like?
what sucks about basic cable is that they literally show the same movies over and over again. And Fox and msn. Just awful stuff to watch.
I haven’t watched any Mob movies believe it or not. Still haven’t watched Godfather 1,2 or 3.
I don’t have a clue what’s on any movies 2024.. planet of the apes??? The original one was great. Ughhh just ranting.

Try watching Pluto TV or another free streaming service that have a lot of older movies.
I tried watching “Once Uponna Time in Hollywood” it’s set around the Sharon Tate murders.
He absolutely hated it and didn’t understand it. Ughh ooops..
Turned it off about 54 minutes into it.
Oh well, back to shark week and more CNN.
Started watching Fargo the series. On the secound season. It's pretty dark but a good show with a great cast!
I can’t remember when it went south but I remember really liking the first two … maybe three seasons?
I felt the same way about True Detective.
And a few other series. They quickly fizzle.
I really liked season one of Silo on AppleTV.
Goodfellas, Miller's Crossing and Casino are great mob movies imo. How old a movie are you looking for? I like lots of movies made from the late 60s on but not many that were made before that.

If you want to see an amazing TV series/mini series - one season wraps up the entire show. US version 2008-2009 based on the UK show starring Jason O'Mara (The Man in the High Castle), Michael Imperioli (The Sopranos), Gretchen Mol (Yellowstone), etc..
This show has an amazing twist that you will never guess. Do not look up the ending or it will be ruined. Great 10/10 show!

That is one of my favorite movies and I find it likely I will be disappointed with a redo. The only remake that every outshined by a long ways the original is the new Dune movies (great) compared to the original which I hated.
I am already thinking the same given that Denzel somehow has his NY accent in it. Romans with NY accents? And a fight against the lions with Jay Z music? Oh cool I didn’t realize they had rap in Ancient Rome.
Yup..it’s gonna be f’n stupid. Should have kept the original soundtrack. I have no clue how they will put Denzel in.
Had the best Superman actor and best music but I like Man of Steel a lot too. They're 1 and 1a for me.
Just saw Godzilla x Kong. It was cheesy but I found it enjoyable as long as I didn't take it seriously. If you still laugh at farts you'll enjoy the movie for what it is. Way more fun than the 2014 Godzilla movie. Going the tongue-in-cheek route for future Legendary Godzilla movies is the way to go imo.

Currently watching “My Bodyguard” from 1980. We were talking about realistic fight scenes in movies on another website.
I mean this is how all fights ended up back in the 80’s before everyone learned MMA..
