We were Gonzaga before Gonzaga! Mark Few could have left for "bigger" programs but he stayed loyal and has built a powerhouse at a small school not in a "power" 5! I remember reading a book on Tark were he said that he got offered the Lakers job multiple times in the 70s when he was at UNLV and same thing with USC in the 80s, they were throwing all kinds of money at him trying to convince to leave Vegas! But he was loyal, money was not at the top for him, he was a rare breed in deed coach Tark! If Maxson and that AD Finfrock along with a couple of boosters didn't turn on Tark we would have remained a power out west not in a P5 just like the Bulldogs have now become! Maybe it's the Krugers that take the torch from the Tarkanians and build us up to were we once were! I just think if we're not in a P5 conference it's going to be really hard to getting us back to being a power out west unless you get really lucky with a guy who is like a Mark Few or Tark. Have we possibly found that guy in Kevin Kruger? Only time will tell but first he must show that he can win!
