Someone had mentioned Farm Basket the other day. Looks like they got bought out by a local family who is reviving the original recipes. I need to try it out again, its been a very long time.

I vaguely remember the cluckeetos. The Gobbler is all I really remember because that’s what I always got. We used to go to the Farm Basket on Tropicana by Paradise Park.
That one and DI/Mojave for me. Not that anybody is counting but Gobbler gets my vote.

Went to Stakeout a couple months ago. The cheesesteak isn't what it used to be and it looks exactly like it did in 1991.

Boston Pizza. Best chicken wings in Vegas. Open till like 4am. 4 a reason. Plus a real good Cheesesteak.

The Farm basket was pretty good. Fried chicken tasted like stuffing. Orange roll tasted like a fruit loop roll. No complaints at all.

I had no clue that place was still open. Did you head to the Sports Pub when you were done?
I was shocked when I drove by the campus and saw it still there. They also have another location by Green Valley High School.

I wish the Sports Pub was still open. Would love to revisit that place.

Yeah no more sports pub. Booo. As for Stakeout, places like that only exist because of the gaming (video poker). No way they'd still be open if just a bar/grill.

Back home for Christmas we were talking about the Pub I can remember that layout to a T. Walk up short stairs to guy on a stool checking ID’s. To the left a hallway to one of the worst bathrooms you will see and way too small for a place that size. Past the hall to the left straight ahead is the huge bar and to the right the pool tables. In front of the bar were circular booths and in front of that the dance floor with the DJ booth (which was inevitably playing “How Soon is Now” by The Smiths) behind it.

There were lots of great places back then. Sports Pub, IZU-Pub&Grub,Sneakers, Palladium, Mooses, . Carlos Murphy's, Fuddy Duddy's etc. And of course the karaoke bar at Ellis Island.

I am a fan of Jackson’s. $20 for a whole pound of boneless ribeye. I am on the hunt for a decent taco place, and a new wing place.
