I suggest Mastrioni's on W. Desert Inn east of Town Center Dr. Excellent restaurant.I have been going there for years and have never had a bad meal there. Their menu leans towards fresh fish but they have extensive pastas, veal, and chicken dishes. If you really want to splurge try their veal chop with a marsala mushroom sauce. It will cost you, though.Any suggestions for Italian? I want suggest a my parents to a nicer place. Giving them 120 bucks, and I would like them to use most of it. My dad is inherently a cheap ass so that may be difficult.

Pop’s is gross. It is in the old Weinersnitzel building on Decatur. I went there only one time and got sick. Gyro Time is good for gyros, The Mad Greek is good as well.Had POPs once about 25 years ago. It was either just ok or I don't like Philly cheesesteaks. I always liked Gyrotimes gyros though. Just a little pricey with fries and a soda. For Buffalo wings I like Broadway Pizzaria. They taste like the ones my big sister used to get from the hood back in the 80s. I hate when they just cook the wings naked and just lazily slather them in Buffalo sauce. Prefer the sauce to be baked in at least a little!
Obviously it is NOT gross. It has been in business for like EVER!!. To each their own. I have had the same where people like a place and i hate it. I am sure it had mainly to do with you getting sick. I still dont eat tostados to this day. That is like 30 years in the making.Pop’s is gross. It is in the old Weinersnitzel building on Decatur. The Del Taco across from UMC Hospital gave me the runs twice because I didn't learn my lesson the first time. Don't eat there and if you do bring extra underwear.Obviously it is NOT gross. On a related-by-physical-proximity note, the donut spot right there, Real Donuts, is outstanding! The Del Taco across from UMC Hospital gave me the runs twice because I didn't learn my lesson the first time. Don't eat there and if you do bring extra underwear.
Bro, best chicken wings?? Ahem..Monsterjam ONLY eats the wings. So that is what he was referring to!
I cannot stand Pinkbox donuts!!On a related-by-physical-proximity note, the donut spot right there, Real Donuts, is outstanding!
I dont dislike Pinkbox, but they are definitely of the unnecessary variety. Im a sucker for a traditional donut, and I dont think the ones at Pinkbox are bad. Buuut yeah I'm with yoy. I dont need fruity pebbles on my donuts.I cannot stand Pinkbox donuts!!
nasty.
bbq ribs at Ellis Island Casino...Guys, what are your recommendations on barbecue ribs? I see they have some newer spots in town. Lucilles is solid. But what about the others?
Just think of the hell she is most likely dealing some poor devil right now.I worked at Winchell's in the late 80's for 3 days. Only reason I stopped was the super hot daughter of the owner was stealing money from the register and he couldn't blame her. Stupid dirty wench....but she sure was good looking.

Yeah, really dug the vibe. Plus a ton of childhood memories in that building for me … old brick building used to be Pizza Inn, thin cardboard pizza that sucked, but it was an after game team eatery in Little League (Paradise Park had one field only), it was also a neighborhood place for us to gather at, all you can eat pizza and bottomless soft drinks on the weekends for 0.15 cents times your age for 15 and under. Yeah, we hung out there quite a bit until arcades popped up.I ate at this place with The Godfather called
Casa Di Amor on Tropicana west of Eastern East of Maryland Parkway.
they had a 3 piece live band. The vibe was pretty good and Joe Spilotro liked it and he’s tough on Italian food like anyone.

What did he do?Would never go to metro pizza ever in my life. The owner is scum.
My parents live right next to that place. I have been goiing there my entire life. That's where we go when I come to town.Mexican? Chapala's on Trop/Pecos.
Angry Chicks next to it has amazing chicken sandwiches. A little pricy at 6 bucks but better than popeye’s or Chick Fil-A.Back to the 80’s Cafe is a cool new spot next to UNLV. I am not saying the food is the greatest but the Monte Cristo was very good and the burgers looked good. If you liked the 80’s you should check this place out.
UMMMM !! NO!!!!! Maybe because i get it hot. The spices are overpowering as in too much not too hot!!Angry Chicks next to it has amazing chicken sandwiches. A little pricy at 6 bucks but better than popeye’s or Chick Fil-A.
I had it twice. The first time I had it plain and it didn’t taste great. The second time I had it with a little spice. It was good but does it really beat a 4 dollar chicken sandwich 🥪 from Popeye’s..UMMMM !! NO!!!!! Maybe because i get it hot. The spices are overpowering as in too much not too hot!!
