Hell, hire Marvin Menzies. Who cares. Maybe teach the BOR what the term "investment to maintain revenue stream" means, when 3K show up for games.
It seems to me that the only hire that could possibly put a team on the floor would be Augmon. If all of those kids left because he was passed over, perhaps at least some will come back for him. I knew they wouldn’t give him a chance given what happened with Rice, but now that the situation has taken such an extraordinary turn, why not?
Virtually any other coach, be it Menzies, Lavin or whoever will be at such a competitive disadvantage with no players to put on the floor, and such a late start in recruiting, that Stacey makes the most sense.
