Obviously, the goal should be to win out and go to the NCAA. But, even though it looked impossible two weeks ago, we could get an NIT at large bid without winning the final.
Last year San Diego went as an at large team while ranked 90th nationally by Ken Pom.
Currently we're 104th. Win our next two, and get to the MWC tourney finals should put us around 90th.
Normally, the NIT is poo pood on this board. But IMO, an NIT bid would be quite an achievement in OTZ first year.
