Wish he was hitting the DLine as hard. Maybe they use these LBs as edge rushersMullen, has come out with a passion with 3 straight LB's committing to UNLV.
After, LB Charles Correa got tampered with to Purdue.
Several are edge guysWish he was hitting the DLine as hard. Maybe they use these LBs as edge rushers
am i reading his bios online right saying he weighs 175 lbs?
The twitter says 195. That’s still pretty slim for 6’4.am i reading his bios online right saying he weighs 175 lbs?
Tall LB's
Come on guys..he will grow into his position. The twitter says 195. That’s still pretty slim for 6’4.
Just needs to make stops at gas stations like the kid from Florida in the Bucs camp said for why he was over 400lbs.Come on guys..he will grow into his position.
That’s a whole lot of human. He’s going to be a great pass rush blocker. Stand in the B gap and be big!Just needs to make stops at gas stations like the kid from Florida in the Bucs camp said for why he was over 400lbs.
Hes a D-lineman.... Hes the Anti-tush pushThat’s a whole lot of human. He’s going to be a great pass rush blocker. Stand in the B gap and be big!

Defenses have gotten more flexible with line positions so players who used to be to small to play DL and played OLB are now being interchanged as "edge" players where they're fast enough to drop into coverage, but can also play up on the line for run or pass.. It confuses the QB/line for who they're supposed to block and allows the edge guy to drop into coverage when a CB blitzes. It's funny how 'Edge' has become a thing the last few years.
It's a bit of semantics.
DE in a four man front can be considered an 'edge' rusher.
OLB in a 3 man front same thing.
Looking at this dudes build I'm guessing OLB spot standing up vs DE spot with his hand in the ground. He's really lean to ask him to set the edge in a 4 man front.
Maybe in obvious passing downs he lines up as a DE..But not sure how he would hold up vs the run as an end consistently.
Let’s not get too carried away here, he’s playing in the MWC not the SEC, he’ll be fine! It's funny how 'Edge' has become a thing the last few years.

Oh c'mon. Can I join in for a 3-way? But I get to be Lucky Pierre.Never...sound about right little bro?
In fairness, depending on your base what you expect from any front 7 position can be drastically different. A 4-3 MLB doesn't not automatically translate to a 3-4 Mack, or a 4-2 Sam or a 3-3 MLB. James Farrior was a bust playing MLB in New York but was a probably ring of honor moving to the Mack in the 3-4. The same thing is true about 0 or 2 technique DTs, or 3/4 or 5 technique DE. Or OLBs in a 4-3 vs a 3-4. I think EDGE is a draft nerd terminology that sort of was created to sort of cover the Myles Garrett and the TJ Watt under the same umbrella on draft boards. It's funny how 'Edge' has become a thing the last few years.

He could be a DE. They could technically line up one of those other 6'4 LBs that we picked up stacked close behind him. Depending on the package and the look would determine which one of them drops back, which one of them blitz, or if one delays his rush etc. If you're the tackle, which one of them are you picking up? They both look to be the same threat. It's funny how 'Edge' has become a thing the last few years.
