I am psyched about Pastner. If you can't out muscle them, let's just run them off the floor. Long wings, great young pg from the Big Illinois team, young talented players looks like a Memphis team to me. We will not have a fall off when subs come in. They might be better than the vets, Pastner has recruited. A couple of PF's to clean up the missed layups and finish the dunks. The Mack will be packed by January. This team will be fast. Now we wait and see how we do vs Grand Canyon, UNM, SDSU.

Make no mistake NIL plays a large role but let’s also not discount the sales job that a HC has to do to sell a player on the plan for them and the program. You still have to get those kids excited and onboard with the program. CJP’s always exudes enthusiasm and energy, people get drawn in to confidence and enthusiasm. So I suppose it’s no surprise that he’s reeling in talent left and right.

The guy is the best AD we have had around here, by far!
Maybe they get a portion of revenue from ticket sales rather than NIL. That will probably be the way the NCAA and Congress cleans this semi pro setup out. Otherwise, these NIL kids can go G league or some other semi pro league.

I think he would be fine at the lighter weight, playing on the wing in our conference but I read he added 15lbs?
If so, he should be really fine in the MWC!
They would never go G-league. The average G league pay is $40K per season. That would be bottom end for a college pro!
