West side? Why? Is that where most local HS players live??
I like the black unis but they’ve been over-used. Should only use them for special occasions.
Open to Strip games but should only be once per year and should be included in season tix and used to market the program (ie, part of a 4-team tourney with big programs) and raise NIL.
Light show needs a serious upgrade. In fact the entire fan engagement does as well.
Most important: Build a culture and character with old Rebel swagger on the court and defend the Mack!!

I like Hey Reb, what he ACTUALLY stood for. It was a good story.

Bringing back a mascot that is somehow connected to Tark would be ultra lame. The court is already named for him. Trying to ride the coattails of memories past, still feeding off the Tarkanian name is super lame too me, especially when we are a distant 9th step cousin from Tark’s program, ideals, successes, style, etc.

I prefer the one we had before he roided out but that’ll never happen because there will always be some level of kumbaya woke and walking over eggshells.

I’d buy one of those old rich houses east of UNLV if I were a head coach. Traffic is a mess in the valley.

Recruiting athletes. You got a 1 year window in today’s game. Since UNLV is so obscure these days, you could get your pick of the litter whether it’s at a lower level conference HBCU or an unhappy upper level division 1 school. And If you really think about it, we signed up to stay in a bottom tier conference because traveling East is easier than traveling West.We get what we deserve.


Scheduling: should always be top tier schools that we schedule. Gotta remember, UNLV is the cupcake in 2025

HeyReb got cancelled. Need to go with Star Wars Rebel theme. Most grown adults love Star Wars. Time to make money off Disney.

Tbh the fire works show is kind of embarrassing and I wouldn't mind doing away with it and yes, West side of town beats any other side of town all day long. It always feels more claustrophic driving anywhere east of I15.

In terms of marketing and game day experience, they really need to rethink all of it. Don't just keep doing something because you've been doing it. If they can have success and ramp up excitement, I think they can learn a lot from watching how VGK does things. But winning and putting a good product out is even more important.
