I haven't seen the email yet, but apparently MWC sent out a survey that concerns potentially pulling all of its content from existing providers and going online stream - either per game or subscription.

Would you pay or it?

For comparison, Ivy League was charging $15.99/month or $119.99/year for theirs.

I don't know if I would pay $16/month for it without knowing for sure that EVERY UNLV football and basketball game would be available. I would pay $8/month yes. Small difference, but you gotta draw the line somewhere. This would vary depending on on-demand service availability.

Note that Ivy League is now available on ESPN+, it's $5/month service that is *NOT* on demand.

To add: I wouldn't be willing to pay 'per game' even if it's just $1, I would say no unless proven needed otherwise. I'd rather pay $5 or $10 a month and know for sure that it'll be there for me

Depending on amount of non conference games and price. If that is the only way to view conference games then probably no choice but to subscribe. At least during those months and not pay for whole year.

Depends on the price point. However..... with EVERYONE wanting to do some type of Sub for that ongoing revenue stream, it's starting to irk me.Before you know it you have who knows how many monthly subs.

I already have DirecTV, AmazonPrime, and Netflix. Disney doing their own thing in the next year. ESPN now has their own "Prime" or whatever channel coming out. Big soccer, and NBC pushing their gold service. Eventually, where does it end? And at some point cord cutting seems it might at some point might be more $$$ than a cable/sat package as everyone wants a piece of this new pie.

But at least in general it's pick and choose. And that's the idea... if I want to spend $10 on Netflix and say like $35 on various sports packaged channels, isn't that better than $120 or something for Directv?

Your point is definitely not lost, it does seem out of hand... but at least it's an option at this point rather than a requirement (as far as paying for programming)

I really only have cable now because of sports, and it is really 95% Rebel stuff.

If they could do this, especially with a PS/Xbox app. That would be great.

Agree, certainly gives you options. We keep wanting to cut the cable, but every time we go to do that, DirecTV gives us a killer offer. Last time was free Sunday Ticket, lowered our monthly like $20 (was under $100 already), a $200 Visa Card, free equipment upgrades through the house, and something else which I forget, maybe HBO free for a while. And I love my soccer, which there are nearly endless options available on DirecTV.

Don't like your DirecTV bill? Threaten to leave... Lol. They did it twice for me. I only switched to cable because of the internet bundle made things significantly cheaper for me.

I voted yes, but of course the price couldnt be outrageous. Like Yellow mentions, its getting to a point where we have to be very selective with all the subscriptions.

I have Cable Internet Only, Netflix, Hulu Plus, Amazon Prime. I am thinking about getting Disney (but I will dump Hulu if I do). Its starting to add up!

I remember when the Rebels were good and you can watch them for free.

Now you get to watch a mediocre team being streamed to your phone.

This stinks to high heaven.

Borderline insulting.

It is all a big mess. However I will pay to watch my Rebs. Forget all the other sports, the Rebs will always be my #1 concern. Someday we will all be proud of how good we are. Those days are coming. Football, basketball, baseball. We will arise, and be a name in the college sports landscape.

I cut the cord to do amazon, six dollars a month to get the CBS local Las Vegas channel (pathetic) Hulu, Netflix. I will not pay more to watch the Rebels. I still have my gettto box to listen to them.
