Back at you! And to all the good boys and girls in Rebel Land. Let’s hope Santa has put a win over Boise State in our stockings. That’s going to be a very difficult game. I’m not too confident going against Leon Rice & his troops.
I’ll never forget his childish display a couple of years ago. For anyone who might not recall, It was 2014, and the Rebels Deville Smith had delivered a swish shot as time, in overtime, was running out. The refs initially called the shot good. But after a long interval with replay, they ultimately decided that time had expired, handing he Broncos a 91-90 win. Rice delivered a double fist-bump. He raced along the sideline like a teen-ager.
Very amateurish for a professional coach I’d enjoy nothing more than handing him a New Year's treat in the form of a beat-down.
