With as big of a deal as this hire is, the local media outlets covering UNLV, besides Mark Anderson at the RJ who has been providing detailed info, coverage coaching search has been non-existent. The Sun and RunRebs have been terrible. They haven't provided anything of substance, just what if and would Coach X succeed at UNLV crap articles.
I remember Ryan Greene, former Sun UNLV beat writer, being on top of the last coaching change along with Youman's. This time around it's the RJ and that's it.
