Les Miles wouldnt even take a phone call from UNLV, if he wants to coach again he will have plenty of opportunity in much better situations.

As for the $$, if LSU is paying him $1.5, he will get that $1.5, not knowing anything about his contract, usually the way it works is if he were to take a job and not make $1.5 LSU would supplement the difference, so if he gets a job paying $1 million LSU would pay $500k, so its more like $1.5 to not coach or $1.5 to coach, either way he will get paid.
