Was injured most of this season, but had 56 total tackles, 2 int, and 6 passes defended last season.

I have a question though, do yall feel some type of way about him entering the portal before the season ended? Or is that feeling only reserved for star players?

Can't know what his relationship with staff has been or what his experience has been. Just guessing but maybe he's been told that the future isn't much different here. Can't blame him for trying to get ahead of things. Better to out there early than late after other opportunities have gone by the wayside.

Was productive one year.

Decent player by previous UNLV standards. Now if we really are going to make a leap, more of a depth guy.

Kind of if he stayed he'd provide decent depth but not sure you want him as your #1 or #2 guy at that position.
