I remember getting an offer from the VP of Operations of a certain casino. It was a nice pay raise, a good deal. But I was comfortable working at my present position. I was told I had to say yes or no before I left the office. I might have got cold feet if I thought it over. That VP knew it was a good offer, and by telling me my answer had to be yes or no before leaving, he put himself in the position to say "yeah, I talked to him but decided not to offer him the position". He took control of the moment, I took the job and things worked out OK for both parties.
Please UNLV, when ending the next interview, TAKE CONTROL of the MOMENT!!! Yesterdays meeting should have ended by TKM saying we talked, but could not come to an agreement. Next up.
