Interesting….

I know the father has posted a lot of positives on KK and UNLV in the past.

Not saying guilty or not, but not sure if UNLV would take a chance on a player that currently has legal issues? But the fact that the family of the girl have filed a big lawsuit makes me wonder how legit the claim is when money seems to be the most important part of the legal issues?

You know who else is at Texas Tech?

Former recruit Kyron Lindsey. Not the sharpest of tools in the shed. His first school is going to the final by the looks of it..

I think this is who @lobbybuu was referring to on Twitter as being to expensive... He's going to attract alot of bidders from his own conference
Will be very expensive and no matter what people say in the public eye and on Twitter, what really matters is what they text other people and the way they talk and how they frame things behind closed doors.

Baseline question for any possible guard addition is whether DTJ can play with him. Pop is a Vegas kid so I suspect there may be a history between them.

(6'8 205 lbs, he is too small for the Big12 too. He would have to play a SF or combo guard to be valuable. They have to be able to bang in the ACC or Big12. Referring to KyeRon Lindsay.)
Pop Isaacs would be fine as a PG. I'd like to see DJ get a few more open shots and another pg would really help in opening the floor up.

We can't afford Isaacs...
We can't afford PGs that average 15ppg and are P5 bound...
We just need a solid backup, doesn't need 15ppg to help DTJ for 10 minutes a game..
l see them playing together as both pg's and shooting guards. Evans, Nowell as SF and the rest as PF's. We will see but the whole league ran out of gas with smallish guards vs the stronger, more athletic guards of the power conferences. Defense would be an issue as it was this year as teams posted up Thomas and Pop all year long. Sears at Alabama is 6'2" 185 lbs and shot over 500 3 pointers a day during the summer so it can be done.

Neither of these two should be starting next season, if so we are in trouble right off the bat. We need better more experienced guys at the 2-3 spots from the jump.

I still don’t know what some see in Nowell, the guy has no offense and what he does do defensively indicates he should be a bench guy!

Pop's dad does not want him to play w/ someone as ball dominant as DJ. This was told to me from a third party so take that with a grain of salt.
I prefer DJ to someone else coming in, so I’m good with this not happening!

He's the sixth best scorer in the BIG 12. If he would be comfortable with DTJ it's a no brainer.

A Bob Huggins and Tom Izzo can handle this family but even a Cronin would struggle with them. Some see the talent but I see it becoming a huge problem for the team should he come here.

Also, agree with the poster above about Nowell. Dude peaked as a senior in high school. He should be playing sparingly at the most. He is to offense as JJJ is to being a PG.
