Don't get me wrong, Jelan putting in that last bucket when most if not all just dribble it out. It gave Unlv the cover and the over but below is a few things I have read in numerous locations ( this is not my writing below)

Last night UNLV played at San Jose St. Line opened at -12 went to -12.5 and closed at either of these lines depending where you played.

UNLV up 7 at the break 31-24 and their biggest lead was at 31-22.

In the second half they go up 56-44 with 7:27 to go and that was their biggest lead of the second half until..........

It was 63-56 with 2:28 to go after Darryl Gaynor made a lay up for San Jose.

Woods with a monster Dunk to put UNLV up 65-56
Morgan with a tip in UNLV up 67-56 1:16 to go........

Assist by Gaynor to make it 67-58 1:03 to go.....

San Jose Time Out........

Foul by Gaynor........

2 FT's made 69-58 UNLV

Turnover by Gaynor at :58 secs........

Morgan for UNLV stole the ball from Gaynor and races down the court getting ready to do a thunderous dunk........ but the ball bounces off his knee on the final dribble and it goes out of bounds back to San Jose with 44 secs to go.

Gaynor with :36 secs turns it over again......... to Morgan once again.........

Morgan passes it into the UNLV end of the court to Kendrick who is just standing there holding the ball and the clock is winding down to end the game. Players from both sides are standing around and just waiting for the clock to go to 0.

All of a sudden with 7 secs to go........ Kendrick dribbles the ball and takes off to the hoop and lays it in to put UNLV up 71-58

No one knows what the hell just happened. San Jose inbounds and the kid from San Jose starts to dribble slowly and looks over at the UNLV bench and just fires up some hopeless shot that was well short at the buzzer.

UNLV largest lead comes with 5 seconds to go on a play that you just NEVER see at the end of a game.

The players........

Gaynor for San Jose.........
Morgan for UNLV
Kendrick for UNLV

UNLV covers the spread of -12 to -12.5 on a play that never happens, a basket that in the scope of just the game didn't matter and everyone else on the court was in awe of what took place.

Kendrick a Senior......... he won't be going anywhere near the pros
Morgan a freshman was on the bench when this took place.
Gaynor a freshman...............

Not saying the fix was in........ but if there ever was a case this was it.....

One of those meaningless games, late night......... fits the mold......
