Brilliant to embrace "Las Vegas" for UNLV. Seemed like for many years they wanted to pretend UNLV wasn't even in Sin City, now they are having fun with it. I like the way someone in the marketing department is thinking. Good stuff !!!

They need to leverage this to build local fan support. While wins will be ultimate driver, creative marketing like this will draw new fans and strengthen core fans interest.

It would be nice to get local networks to donate time to run this as real commercial. Or get university to understand importance investing in broadening this promotion.
