You brought up stuff about Maiava during the offseason and he led us to a bowl.
I’m out on Friel from what he displayed on the field, just not an accurate passer and drops his vision to run way too early. Wouldn’t think they’d go after who they did if Marion had any confidence in Friel.
Sluka won't be here until Summer. Something with credits not transferring over I think.
I know Marion has said in interviews the GoGo doesn't require a mobile QB. But if Maiava lacked what Marion wanted in his QB in terms of athletic ability Friel is even more limited.
I honestly can't see him beating out either of the new comers.
He would basically eliminate all option portions of the offense including zone read stuff. He doesn't threaten any defense with his legs.
I don't think he's devoid of talent, but I don't see him fitting this particular offense very well, do you?
Seen that movie, not interested in it. Give me Sluka and White and let it rip...
Not interested in this movie either.
I mean the 1st one was ok. Had enough promise to get me to want to see the 2nd one. But it wasn't very good and the 3rd was completely uneventful. Don't see any reason for a 4th one..
