News Fertitta Football Complex may break ground in June

This is good news. Interested once they do break ground to know what they feel the timetable to completion will be. I would hope its ready for the tail end of winter work outs and spring ball 2018.

A few months ago I had heard they were planning on breaking ground in April with a hopeful completion date of November. So if they break ground in June I would think they are shooting for completion in January or February.

The completion schedule may vary. They have not received all of the funding for the whole project. If they can't get all of the necessary funds there could be delays.

I don't think so. Generally construction is greeen lighted when 80 percent funds donated. UNLV likely to gaurantee shortage of funds if not collected.

Now that it has the Fertitta brand, I don't think they'll let it be half built. Greatful for their contributions.

I m looking forward to not being able to walk across the grass part of the practice field next year.
