EWU game

I believe Ewu qb who was real good transferred to North Dakota State so hopefully unlv will win. Historically, ewu has been strong in their level of football, so if unlv looks as this as an exhibition, like they did vs howard a few years back, they will lose.

I think you're mistaken, Eric Barriere is still w/ EWU and he's the best QB in their league.

They almost beat UW every time they play. Generally, they are DivII playoff team. We will have a tough time given our young O line.

Just to be clear, EWU is FCS (formerly D1-AA). DII is a lower classification with schools like Chadron St., West Texas A&M, Angelo St, etc. Many people make that mistake. We don't want to diminish the Rebels' opposition and, from the rest of your post, it doesn't look like that was your intent.

the are normally really good. They have played UW three times in the last 10 seasons 2 close losses although they gave up 59 points in one of those close losses, but the last time they played in 2019 UW smoked them.

in this early preseason poll they are ranked #16. UNLV will have its hands full.

A loss to EWU will be like last season's first game loss in MBB to wherever state: It will kill fan interest!

Before you tell me that EWU is DII and we should beat them, we should beat them, but that never means that we do. This isn't small school Indiana vs. Notre Dame. We are UNLV Football.

We won zero games last season and looked terrible in the process. I know that we had two good recruiting classes but our incoming players aren't saving the day for us right away. It's not like we were one or two players from turning a corner before these guys stepped onto campus.

Reactions: UNLV Rebel1
I’m going in with little expectations. Based on history, there isn’t one game on the schedule that can be penciled in as a W, included game 1.

Should be interesting to see what happens the following weeks when we get off to a rough start. Will be tough to keep support when losing, but right now, aside from the ISU games, going to a rebels game appears to be between 10-20x cheaper than trying to go to a Raiders game. And that’s comparing apples to oranges (400 level seats for NFL compared to 100 level for UNLV, but also NFL vs non-power NCAA).

I have still noticed that UNLV is staying quiet regarding the cost to park away from the stadium, I wonder why?

My desire as we don’t get blown out. A close game would mean we stand a chance to win around for games.
