** Big Ten Blues? Why the Four Pac-12 schools joining the Big Ten this year may soon regret their decision.

Listing of Pac-12 NIL Collectives by School:

Should be no surprise here, but WSU, OSU, and Cal didn’t belong running with the rest of the schools formally in the Pac.

Wsu/Osu were like Wyoming to the MW. On occasion there are great football years; but never great revenue years.

Kind of crazy how different the money lines are for the conferences.

Especially the ACC surprised they have the same $$ as the Big 10.

Thats why OSU and WSU fans that cant accept they are a G5 school is hilarious to most of us.. They weren't even on par with their previous conference mates- those that care at least- and then they wanted to go into the Big 12/Big 10 who were running 3x what they were investing? I know ours isnt exactly right home about $$ but we didnt claim to be a power conference school.

Well we know we are #1 in return value. Not even a sniffing distance in that price range and we are 6-1. That IMO shows there are going to be some serious suitors for our coaching staff. ALL OF THEM! Hopefully we use the buyout money to keep them. Odom knows enough people in this line of work to replace some of our staff if needed.

I think CBO will leave eventually. It won't be just a $$ decision. Men in NCAAF head coaching positions are also trying to test themselves against the other coaches and, to some degree, History. But he needs to be careful what job he takes. He's already been fired from one P4 job. Each year around a dozen P4 head coaching jobs open up. Some of these go to assistants, some go to previously successful lower level P4 coaches and some go to very successful G5 coaches. An occasional coach will get a second shot at head coaching - but very few with two previous firings, get a third shot at it. (Unless they showed success at the very highest levels) CBO needs to make sure he doesn't get stuck in a P4 program going nowhere.

It’s because despite the lack of funding we still finished above Colorado, Stanford, Cal, Arizona, UCLA, and Arizona State most years. It wasn’t based on merit.

It was based on our locale (remote location) compared to the rest of the teams. So harder to get to and our tv market was smaller despite viewership numbers showing otherwise.

But we know we aren’t in a power conference but we are building the 5th best conference and when the ACC does it will be the 4th best.
