I noticed that some of the players TJ offered early and before the AAU season started were unranked or ranked much lower. In the other thread on "Any News" and linked by Trip to the Rivals Top 150 for the 2020 class Trip noted Nick Blake moved up 48 spots, is 4 star and is now ranked 89th in the country. But Blake isn't the only one. You have Gethro Muscadian who's first big offer was UNLV and he was 2 star before the summer. Now Gethro is 4 star and ranked 128 and his visit to Kansas is coming up. Then there is Sabe Gilberia who TJ has offered moved up into the top 100 at 99th and is 4 star. Also, some of the other players UNLV has offered like Mwani Wilkinson have risen in the rankings and is now 4 star.

On the juco level, I am watching the recruiting of Deandre Pickney who could be the missing piece in the 2020 class for year two for TJ. UNLV was on him early and I wouldn't be surprised if Pickney ends up a top 3 juco. Although early, it appears the TJ has gotten early on some of the players that are trending up in the player rankings. Is that a coincidence or does TJ have an eye for assessing players?
