Nice to see Rashad out there today shooting a bit. No, I still don't think he will be back for the MWC but happy to know he is progressing very well. Saw him going hard on an exercise bike but mainly just happy to see him in good spirits and know he is recovering well.

DC has progressed to running stairs hard. He worked out hard lifting while he was down and has put on 10 pounds of muscle. Very noticeable he is a lot stronger. Kid has grown up a lot maturity wise too since he has been here. He is working very hard and is a team first guy. His coach likes him a lot. Don't count him out. I know it was very important to his mom that he came to a staff that would not only teach him to play, but teach him to be a good man. This staff is committed to that. I really like what I see in him right now.

Dantley shooting the ball. The plan is for him to be back in practice Monday.

Overall you can call it an excuse but 7 scholarship players is tough. And even our scout team is dinged up. It's tough when Charles has to play Larry Nance and now today whatever post player he was being. He still managed to post Chris up once and score.lol.

This is a good group of guys though. It would have been easy to pack it in after all the losses and then the loss of our best scorer. Instead they have stayed together and actually practiced harder. I really love our young guys. Don't be surprised when we win tomorrow.
