That was by far the worst officiated game I have seen at the Mack. Honestly felt like one official had money on the game, thats how bad the calls were.(yeah, I know they most likely didnt). Hurley was in the officials ears early and often and it did change the outcome. However players and coaches alike need to adjust and cant fall into those long stretches of nothing.

Ben, I love him being back home and what he can do. He has lost his legs and its obvious. GO leaving giving him more court time has worn the kid out. he has diminished lift and strength due the long off season with his back and these extended minutes are showing.

As Joe has said, Pat with all his abilities still isnt there emotionally at all times. I think he thrives off ball and being the second guy. pressure can eat people up. last year Pat was at his best switching sides curling coming under screens then getting the ball. The top of the key is not his strength or comfort zone.

Seagears had been improving as the season went on. hard to get guys the ball when they stand stationary and are covered, its a trap and a turnover waiting to happen. I was glad he got yanked but honestly with the way the team was just sitting there blanked face I dont blame him for trying.

During the second half someone sitting near me shouted for Rice to take a tech for the team. In hindsight this may have been a good strategy to employ. The team needed some fire and the officials were completely out of hand.

All in all it is just one game out of 31 and not the end of the season. I hope they respond an i dont think U of a is a must win . it is however a must not get embarrassed type game.

Lets go Rebels
